  • Description We are in the process of recruiting a Customer Service Representative in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves providing excellent service and support to our customers and distribution partners as the primary internal contact. The successful candidate will be working closely with our Inside Sales Manager and will be a crucial part of our sales efforts.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as the first and primary contact for product-related questions, documentation, quotations, inventory status, product returns, credits, and general sales inquiries from our customers and distribution partners.

    • Assist in executing regional sales strategies and support the sales efforts of our Regional Sales Managers and Manufacturing Reps within assigned territories and key accounts.

    • Respond to requests for quotation by researching, gathering critical information, and communicating the proper selection of a product or alternative.

    • Use discretion and judgment when determining and negotiating price concessions to maximize profit while meeting customer needs.

    • Act as the point of contact between distributor and internal departments for large quotations, projects, and orders to ensure appropriate and accurate information is presented and distributed clearly and properly.

    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies internally as well as externally between us and our distribution partners.

    • Enter all incoming orders into the ERP system for your territory and allocate and release stock per order.

    • Verify customer data and review orders for completeness. Provide order information to customers by email, such as unit price, shipping dates, or anticipated delays.

    • Prepare and print orders, pick/pack tickets, and labels; deliver to warehouse.

    • Check inventory records to determine the availability of requested merchandise and make adjustments if necessary.

    • Review system generated reports to proactively follow up opportunities and effectively communicate with Regional Sales Managers regarding distributor activity/performance. Requirements - Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing both inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment

    • Experience in providing excellent customer service, including handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing appropriate solutions

    • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

    • Ability to handle email correspondence professionally, responding promptly and accurately

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets and documents

    • Experience with order entry, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and efficiently

    • Ability to schedule appointments effectively, managing multiple calendars and ensuring no conflicts

    • Familiarity with Macola, with the ability to navigate and use the software effectively

    • Must have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills

    • Must have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle and resolve issues effectively

    • Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times

    • Must have strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

    • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility

    • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
