Emergent Safety Supply, a Lawson company, brings relationship-based business to the safety industry.

We're looking for an Intern who will tasked with documenting the onboarding process to create training for Sales Representatives at Emergent Safety Supply. Starting with Lawson Products' onboarding process for comparison, this role will learn Emergent Safety Supply's sales model to create training materials which provide new sales representatives with the information needed to be successful, as well as provide the Lawson sales team with ESS sales knowledge.

Our office is located in Bolingbrook, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model, spending at least three days per week working in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Shadows all departments to obtain a complete overview of our sales process from quoting to orders.

• Learns the product line through product-training with manufacturer reps, assisting sales reps with samples, reviewing product specs, and responding to technical data requests.

• Assesses the ESS Sales Rep onboarding process.

• Creates training materials to provide new sales representatives with the information needed to be successful.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Academic work towards a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field required

• Team player

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to organize information and document processes

• Computer skills with Microsoft Suite knowledge

• Understanding of MS Teams helpful
