    Opportunity

    A great opportunity is available for an assertive, personable, and persuasive person to lead and assist the execution of all the events in and out of the retail stores for Kohler Services- Minnesota. This position is crucial to the continued growth of our organization. The purpose of this role is to assist execution of all home shows, events, retail stores. This includes coordinating plan events, mentor a team of event & retail staff. This person must be highly motivated to gather leads for the sales team, while reaching obtainable goals. This role will requires night and weekend work.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Product Knowledge: Develop an understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.

    • Customer Engagement: Approach and engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner to create a positive and memorable experience with the goal of generating a lead and ultimately setting an appointment.

    • Promotional Activities: Execute in-store promotional activities, including product demonstrations, sampling, and other events to attract and retain customers.

    • Sales Generation: Actively promote and sell products to achieve individual and team sales targets.

    • Customer Education: Provide information and answer customer queries to enhance their understanding of our products/services.

    • Visual Merchandising: Ensure that product displays are attractive, organized, and well-maintained to maximize visibility and impact. This often includes setting up, tearing down and transferring of displays.

    • Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback and insights to help improve offerings and customer satisfaction.

    • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including the number of customer interactions, appointment sets, and other relevant metrics.

    • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align promotional activities with overall business objectives.

    • Capture and share best practices

    • Have weekly meetings with the Business Development Manager and Associate Director with topics including team performance, upcoming events/retail and weekly objectives

    • Coaching, mentoring and motivating to ensure that events team is on track with daily goals.

    Skills/Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in retail sales, field sales or customer service preferred. Experience in the home improvement channel preferred.

    • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

    • Ability to work nights and weekends - Weekends will be required at different points throughout the year.

    • Ability to work in a retail environment full time.

    • Must thrive in a direct selling environment and engage with a wide range of shoppers.

    • Comfortable with presentations and public speaking.Required to both conduct in store training with store associates and present key insights to Kohler employees.

    • Ability to stand for the duration of shift except for meal and rest breaks

    • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or restrictions

    • Capable of lifting and transporting heavy items and requesting assistance as needed.

    • Capable of reaching and/or lifting overhead in addition to ascending/descending ladders to move product.

    • Capable of using small hand tools to assemble and build displays.

    • The applicant must be MS Office proficient.

    • Applicant should be self-motivated and a team player with strong organizational skills.

    The salary range for this position is $69,800 - $87,950. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
