Industrial Fabrics Sales Rep
Position Description
Job Summary
The Industrial Fabrics Sales Rep is responsible for identifying, developing, and maximizing new and incremental business in the industrial fabrics market for the ADFORS business. You will pursue unique and incremental distribution for current and new products.
You will be responsible for building, managing, and closing opportunities focusing on selling technical textile reinforcements products related to building construction, flooring, filtration, insulation, packaging, etc. Two key areas of focus to achieve this include helping companies reduce their CO2 emissions through light weight, sustainable products, and by working with companies to develop more resilient products in the climate changing environment.
The ability to travel between 50% - 60% of the time is a requisite for the role. You will maintain a desirable call level on customers, and prospects, and other personnel, to maximize the total sales potential of all assigned accounts, prospects, and territories.
Maintain and grow business with key accounts.
Identify, pursue, and close new prospects and market opportunities to generate upside revenue.
Develop organizational influence skills with the ability to work with people at all levels within the organization.
Conduct regular revenue and forecasting reports for developed accounts.
Resolve customer issues and cultivate relationships with key decision makers.
Prepare and present formal proposals.
Execute pre-planned and organized sales calls. Maintain necessary records for effective follow up.
Participate in annual budget creation and strategic plans.
Communicate to management the implementation, control and performance of marketing, strategic and gap plans, and actions.
Remain alert for competitive pricing, products, and programs.
Continue to update knowledge of products, applications, and market conditions.
Conduct price maintenance, contract, and payment term compliance reviews.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field is required. 2-3 years of work-related skill and experience in Sales/Account Management is required. The ideal candidate will have strong self-discipline and self-motivation with the ability to build relationships and be sales and service oriented. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce CRM is a must. Must have a valid driver's license for business travel between 50% to 60% of the time.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $68,700 to $106,300 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 30% of base salary based on individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,310-TTC to $138,190-TTC. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
