    Summary:

    The Inside Sales Representative oversees specific customer accountsand ensure positive customer experiences while working across all functions ofthe supply chain to ensure products are beneficial to customers. This role willbe a blend of operations, customer service, supply chain management and projectmanagement. The ideal candidate is relationship-focused, very organized,detail-oriented, and sees things through a "big picture" lens. Someone who is proactive, shows initiative, andis excited to be empowered and included in business goals will have ampleopportunity for growth within the organization.

    Reports to: Sales Manager & Profit Center Manager

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

    • Pursuing or received a Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of relevant experience

    • Must have a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record

    • Must be a self - starter who can handle multiple tasks at the same time

    • Must be able to take initiative in projects and be proactive

    • Must be detail-oriented and possess a good work ethic

    • Stellar communication & time management skills

    • Must be organized and enjoy collaborative problem-solving

    • Must be team-oriented and with strong collaboration skills

    • Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Two years' industry specific experience, preferred but not required

    Working Conditions:

    This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

    Essential Job Functions:

      • Proactive customer account management - accountable for specific customer accounts and ensuring we are consistently giving a positive experience
    • Assist with customer order prep in support of the Warehouse Team as needed

    • Develop processes and strategies to help customers stay organized and informed, and to make it easy for the customers to provide forecasting for their upcoming projects

    • Stay up to date on solar technology in an effort to give customers advice on products and product alternatives

    • Engage in pricing and availability discussions with team, customers, and vendors

    • Train customers on using our online e-commerce portal

    • Turn customer PO's into sales orders, offer product expertise and enhancements where applicable

    • Develop positive relationships with new or existing solar manufacturers

    • Provide insight into purchasing decisions for the team based on conversations with customers and a well-established customer relationship

    • Provide customer service to walk-in retail customers

    Compensation Range:

    The compensation range for this position is $45000 to $60000 annually.
