    Job Summary:

    Active outbound Inside Sales team responsible for outbound calls to former and existing Dentsply Sirona customers to sell and generate revenue. The hourly rate and variable compensation for this role in the state of Pennsylvania is between $41,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieves sales goals assigned by using customer target lists, CRM information, and product knowledge to meet customer needs and overcome objections

    • Recognizes the benefit and achieves the performance standards established for the team including but not limited to dials, targets, on-the-spot sales and lead generation

    • Responds timely and efficiently to inbound calls

    • Closes sales on the phone with targeted customers to ensure placement of Dentsply Sirona products

    • Effectively manages target lists to achieve the objectives assigned to each campaign

    • Places orders with authorized Dentsply Sirona distributors on behalf of customers in an accurate and timely manner

    • Enters direct business orders in CRM program in an accurate and timely manner

    • Ensures order accuracy to minimize order errors

    • Shares customer leads with appropriate field sales rep

    • Recognizes the need for field sales rep intervention and conveys customer information to appropriate field sales personnel

    • Conveys market intelligence and customer feedback to leadership team to develop improved promotions and programs

    • Uses CRM software to schedule activities, record sales and document customer contacts

    • Evaluates information to determine if feedback constitutes a complaint and transfers product complaint to the appropriate customer service group

    • Takes initiative to develop skills by staying current on industry trends, product knowledge and new company developments

    • Other duties as assigned or requested

    Education:

    • High school diploma or GED required

    Years and Type of Experience:

    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in outbound sales activity is preferred, but not required

    • Experience in resolving conflict and problem solving, sometimes in a stressful environment

    Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:

    • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and strong telephone etiquette skills required

    • Capable of working independently

    • Capable of working on a computer up to 8-9 hours per day

    • Requires the associate to be on a telephone up to 8-9 hours per day

    • Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations

    • Strong oral and written communications skills are required

    • Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and MS Word, or other similar data entry software.
