Sales Assistant

Description

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join their team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to transition into inside sales while gaining valuable experience in customer service and order management.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns via email, providing accurate information and solutions.

• Process quotes and orders efficiently and accurately using our EDI system, similar to Excel, ensuring all details are recorded correctly.

• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services and address any issues or concerns promptly.

• Assist with training, both international and domestic, to become proficient in our systems and processes.

• Collaborate with the sales team to support inside sales activities, including managing house accounts and developing relationships with key customers.

• Maintain and manage a book of business, ensuring timely communication and excellent service to assigned accounts

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or related field preferred.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with EDI systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
