Silver Feather Jewelry & Gifts in historical downtown St. Augustine is looking for new team members. Customers are our first and foremost priority all day every day, so you must enjoy actively engaging with our customers and selling our product. Other duties will include merchandising, restocking, product knowledge, working with our loyalty marketing program, cleaning, organizing, etc. However, all of this is second to the customers who are in our store. You will be with them from greeting, to showing and selling product, to ringing in the sale and thanking them for their purchase.   

The atmosphere of historical downtown St. Augustine is unique. We stay BUSY! The energy is high, and customers are here to have a good time. We are looking for sales associates who can help us to create a great shopping experience for them. We supply the small-business, specialty retail environment, we supply the great product mix, we supply the policies that benefit our customers. You supply the product knowledge (that we will teach you), the attention to customer needs, and the positive attitude that will help form their experience and make purchases that make their day!

Our expectation is that everyone works together as a team to serve our customer’s needs. We have a great and wonderfully diverse staff to work with and everyone shares in all aspects of the duties that make up a day. We have team-shared bonuses rather than individual commissions to encourage this philosophy.  

We can accommodate full-time or part-time needs. Weekends and holidays are the busiest time in retail so they are required, Earlier and later shifts will be mixed into every workweek. We are closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day only. Retail sales experience is required, the more similar the business the better. Sales are what we are here for, but sales of product that the customer will want, need, and love is where the service comes in.
