    The Lead Technical Sales Engineer (Strong background in the Hydroprocessing technology area) will be a key enabler to LST's growth by leading the adoption of UOP's integrated solutions by our customers. With our integrated offering and lifecycle management vision, your deep technical understanding and business acumen, will allow you to create value propositions that unlock value for our customers in innovative ways. In this role, you will connect with many stakeholders (business, sales, technical services, legal, marketing, breakthrough initiative counter partners, etc.) to ensure value for our customer, internal alignment and profitable business growth that enables the power of LST.

    This role will allow you to look at a bigger picture across different technologies while given the opportunity to deep dive into a technology, using and expanding your technical knowledge.     Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in customer discussions for catalyst sales to provide technical sales support and develop an understanding of the customer's needs and expectations to meet or exceed customer requirements and increase satisfaction.

    • Support execution of all reload catalyst opportunities through development of the business case for specific opportunities including yield estimates, input on strategy for sales event, preparation of technical proposal and technical appendices, preparation, and delivery of technical sales presentations in customer meetings.

    • Collect customer intelligence on regional market trends and competitor strategies and products. Provide information to the regional hydrocracking business development leaders, Global Catalyst Technical Sales Manager, Project Development and Offering Managers for subsequent analysis.

    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the catalyst capabilities including our value propositions of Honeywell UOP Catalyst, Adsorbents & Specialties business unit concentrating on the assigned area of expertise and becoming recognized internally and externally as a technology expert.

    • Working in conjunction with the Global Catalyst Technical Sales Engineers, support launching of new products through identification of target customers, development of business case for specific opportunities including yield estimates, input on strategy for sales event, preparation and delivery of technical sales presentations, coordination of commercial trials and direct customer meeting support.

    • Review loading reports and determine if there are any product loading issues. Provide feedback to the Offering Managers regarding any quality issues or adjustments.

    Basic Qualifications

    • BS degree in Chemical Engineering

    • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Hydroprocessing in Technical Sales, Technical Service, Engineering, or equivalent industry process operations experience.

    Additional Qualifications

    • Renewables desirable

    • Proficient in English Language- written and oral

    • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills for direct customer interaction

    • Solid comprehensive problem-solving skills
