Our client, a leader in the metal solutions industry, is seeking to hire an Outside Sales Representative in the BC Interior on a permanent full-time basis.
Partner and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Grow and maintain existing accounts
Prospecting and cold-calling to add new customers to portfolio within the Interior region
Creating your own work schedule, setting meetings and travelling to clients on-site to provide information on service and product offerings
Develop pricing strategies, product programs and marketing programs with Branch manager
Liaise with inside sales teams to advise on customer changes or concerns
Prepare formal quotes, price lists, credits and sales reports
Prepare daily sales reports through CRM to assess current market conditions and trends
2+ years of outside sales experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Post-secondary education in sales or marketing would be an asset
Previous experience or knowledge of metals would be an asset
WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL:
This role is best suited for someone who can work well autonomously and create their own day-to-day schedule.
Must have reliable transportation as you would be required to travel frequently within the BC Interior to meet clients in-person
Salary package would include base salary plus annual commission
Monthly car allowance with gas fully reimbursed
Paid vacation and benefits
