(Preferred candidate would be in the Itasca/Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana or Southern Wisconsin area due to visits to the Itasca, IL Office)

Job Scope

Manages incoming quote and email requests. This includes maintaining an RSO territory email box, gathering necessary information to effectively apply discounts to each quote type, working/strategizing with local RSO team members, and responding to customers/distributors in a timely, effective, and professional manner. Improve Allegion financial performance within the regional sales office.

What You Will Do:

• Act as the primary contact for project/business conversion/tenant improvement quotes, most of which are collected via the territory quotes email box.

• Utilize CRM/Dynamics, ability to create both opportunities/quotes within CRM/Dynamics.

• Create CRM/Dynamics views/queries related to both opportunities/quotes that enable an efficient access to each.

• Utilize CRM/Dynamics for project/competitor analysis, packaging/leveraging options, historical discount analysis, and product margin management.

• Work closely with local sales team to increase the quote close rate.

• Review project specification to develop an effective strategy for applying discounts to quotes within our territory, collaborate with team members as needed. Calibrate potential quote discounts with distribution representatives and PSM as necessary but especially on highly visible/valuable projects.

• Grow Allegion product knowledge, especially locks/exits/closers/hollow metal.

• Able to prepare and present periodic reports including monthly quote activity.

• Work with other territory pricing managers on cross-territory project quotes and opportunities.

• Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines and procedures and ensure compliance.

What You Need to Succeed:

• High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

• Basic Allegion product knowledge a plus.

• 2-5 years sales administrative, sales support, or technical support.

• Detail oriented with a high level of organization and time management skills.

• Proficient w/ Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to learn industry specific software.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
