    Job Purpose

    The Sales Coach is responsible for the development of sales skills for all Internal sales associates across all channels, leading to more effective and efficient sales professionals. They will work closely with the training team and Sales management to ideate, develop, and implement coaching programs, formal feedback loops, and Quality Assurance programs to support increasing sales results. The Sales Coach will facilitate onboarding new sales associates, evaluate calls for successful sales process navigation, conduct side-by-side coaching sessions, and provide real-time coaching, feedback, and mentorship. In addition, the Sales Coach will be responsible for creating and maintaining evaluation systems to ensure consistency, business alignment, and measurements of success.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Leads and manages the Quality Assurance program(s) for inside Sales Associates.

    • Develops and delivers formal coaching plans for quality improvement.

    • Conducts formal and informal observations and provides coaching feedback.

    • Identifies, develops, and implements key performance indicators to measure effectiveness and efficiency.

    • Provides regular analysis of monitoring data to identify, monitor, and track trends; performs root cause analysis to help identify skill and knowledge gaps.

    • Consults with Sales Desk Leadership and other key stakeholders to identify development and training needs.

    • Assists with the onboarding processes for inside Sales Associates.

    • Acts as a point person for monitoring technologies.

    • Conducts calibration sessions for inside Sales Associates as well as Sales Desk Leadership.

    • Collaborates with the community of QA Analysts across the organization.

    • Assists with the development of departmental communications, call scripts, job aids, and other training material.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, provide feedback, and lead coaching sessions.

    • Demonstrated ability to assess individual sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide targeted coaching and development plans

    • Ability to inspire and motivate Sales Associates to reach their full potential, encouraging a high-performance culture.

    • Proficiency in analyzing sales data, metrics, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies accordingly.

    • Flexibility to adjust coaching techniques and approaches to cater to the unique needs and learning styles of each inside Sales Associate.

    • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with team members/stakeholders/Leadership to foster trust, collaboration, and open communication.

    • Commitment to staying updated with industry trends, sales methodologies, and coaching techniques to ensure effectiveness in the role.

    • Strong leadership qualities to guide and inspire individuals and groups, setting clear expectations, and providing guidance on development opportunities.

    • Track record of delivering measurable results in sales performance improvement, meeting or exceeding sales goals.

    • Comfortable using sales, CRM, and additional software tools to analyze data, track progress, and provide feedback.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

    • 3+ years of wholesaling or sales experience required.

    • 2+ years of coaching, training or formal mentoring preferred.
