Sales Engineer

Description

-Customer satisfaction: Ensure that the project managers and responsible engineers understand and satisfy customer expectations by monitoring customer satisfaction throughout the proposal process and during the implementation. Respond to any issues by mustering necessary resources to resolve he matter to the client's satisfaction.

-Business Growth: Forecast and manage the business budget. Develop new clients. Help identify appropriate candidates for the department vacancies.

-Financial and Project Budget: Collaborate with the project managers in establishing the project schedule and budget that satisfies customer expectations.

-Workflow and Project Staffing: Collaborate with the project manager and principal engineer to assign engineers and/or engineering tasks to satisfy commitments made to the client.

-Partnerships: Develop and maintain a professional business relationship with owners, general contractors, consulting engineers and primary vendors. For design/build opportunities, assist in building teams that have the skillsets and experience necessary to achieve the client's quality objectives and schedules.

-Estimating: Direct the development of estimates and proposals. Collaborate with the estimator to the extent necessary to develop an estimate and proposal that satisfies client expectations.
