    The Sales Specialist is our multifaceted sales professional, who drives the sales of the Critical Care product line for the assigned market through selling to existing customers, as well as new customers. This person will work with a diverse set of customers within the hospital setting - Surgeons, Intensivists, Materials Management, Anesthesiologists, and Critical Care. They must be able to identify, develop and close new sales opportunities. This sales role works directly with a Clinical Field Specialist to provide education and clinical support of the Enhanced Surgical Recovery Process to clinicians in the ICU and operating room environment.

    The ideal candidate will live in Orlando , FL area.

    Our sales reps mostly call on anesthesiologists, intensivists, hospitalists, cardiac surgeons, nurse anesthetists etc. The products are hemodynamic monitoring devices which are used in surgery to catch a hypotensive event prior to it occurring. Given that post-surgery complications due to these events is the third highest cause of death in the US, we believe these products are pretty important!

    What you will need (Required):

    • 3 years of progressive sales experience and medical devices industry experience

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • Ability to travel (20% or more)

    What else we look for (Preferred):

    • Experience selling capital and disposable product

    • Experience selling into the OR and ICU call point

    • Shown ability to sell products that require physician behavior change and disruptive technology

    • Confirmed ability to get results in a multi-level hospital selling environment (C-Suite, Purchasing, Physicians, Nurses)

    • Proven clinical knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring as well as cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology

    • Ability to develop deeper understanding of business, industry and selling environment of that territory.

    • Work in a fast-paced environment, and understand customer needs/feedback/objections.

    • Ability to influence customer buying decisions with tact and diplomacy.
