    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    This role is located Onsite in Englewood, CO

    The Senior Lease Administration Specialist is responsible for understanding lease details, amendments, and other lease documents, including all critical dates and financial requirements. They will work with landlords, property managers, and market personnel as necessary.

    The Senior Lease Administration Specialist will have expertise in lifecycle lease administration and experience interpreting leasing terms to ensure compliance with all lease-related payments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Communicating and resolving Landlord disputes in accordance with lease provisions

    • Oversight of millions of dollars in rent payments on a yearly basis

    • Monitoring and taking action on critical date items such as lease expirations and lease insurance

    • Commencing rent payments or exercising option provisions based on lease language

    • Tracking dates for actionable requirements pursuant to the lease documents

    • Reviewing and reconciling recurring monthly rent payments

    • Performing lease audits

    • Submitting payment through our Rent File process

    • Collect paperwork and maintain files (both hard files and electronic files) to track all obligations on all leases

    • Research and answer lease interpretation questions for internal and external resources

    • Interface with the legal and finance departments on all dispute resolutions regarding real estate

    • Implement and manage processes to review, evaluate, transmit, and track all real estate documents

    • Ensure that all landlord expenditures are appropriate by monitoring and auditing CTI and other landlord expenditures

    • Monitor and maintain all real estate databases

    • Performs ongoing analysis of current processes and defines areas for improvement

    • Works with various departments to ensure initiatives are fully developed and implemented successfully

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years' equivalent experience in lease administration or related corporate real estate field

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Expertise in understanding and interpreting complex lease language

    • Understanding of legal terminology as it pertains to leases and real estate

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently

    • Ability to understand, abstract, and communicate lease requirements to stakeholders

    • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and research skills required

    • Customer service oriented for both internal and external audiences

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and Looker Studio a plus

    • Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through to ensure completion

    • Ability to manage projects from beginning to end

    • Works well under pressure in an environment of constant change

    • Proven experience with people management, with direct and indirect influence

    Salary Ranges

    Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
