    Senior System Integration Engineer

    This position requires a consultative technical person, who owns technology relationships at all levels within the new accounts or prospects they service. This individual seeks and advocates the best possible solutions considering customer's technology landscape and requirements.

    Identifies, maps and designs opportunities to integrate Sabre products/services into customer's IT environment to unlock more value for the customer and Sabre.

    They persuade the customer to adopt relevant Sabre technology that can unlock value for either the Customer or Sabre always aiming optimal performance. It will interact with several customers and prospects simultaneously during the year.

    Team Description

    Sales & System Integration Engineering is a team within the Delivery organization. We are the first technical individuals who interact with prospects and new accounts to start tailoring the best Sabre solution including products and APIs. Our team is responsible for define scoping, consulting and create a list of relevant recommendations that will be implemented by the next engaging teams once a customer is signed with Sabre. We are also important resource during implementation and our knowledge is used during this critical process of getting the first booking created.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Consultative approach for mapping current scenario of opportunities (existing implemented solutions)

    • Efficiently documents all existing processes in current solution and makes sure that the details can be accessible to different audience - teams that will engage with the account after implementation.

    • Using their solid technology knowledge, create a cohesive but complete list of recommendations that will make Sabre implementation successful and more efficient that it was with competitors

    • Acts as point of reference for technical questions or concerns that may show up during pre-sales activities or pre-implementation, as well as during the implementation.

    • Bridges with Technical Support or Product teams every time a problem is out of scope of their knowledge, being clear and communicating efficiently to avoid interruption or delays during the implementation project.

    • Communicate eventual barriers that potentially can delay an implementation project to all necessary stakeholders (Sales, Support, Delivery, Project Manager or Product)

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • Proven knowledge or experience in Software Architecture Design

    • Past experience in Software Development as Scrum Master, Project Manager or Software Engineer

    • Strong and proven knowledge on Cloud, Web, SOAP, REST and APIs solutions being responsible for either creating design or implementing solutions

    • Solid presentation and communication skills

    • Versatile individual that can talk to different audiences (technical, operational or commercial)

    • Creative mind that can solve problems even if there is no pre-existing solution

    • Capable of creating proof of concept solutions that can facilitate comprehension for stakeholders

    • Coaching abilities to lead technical workshops on Sabre products and APIs

    • Great text and documentation skills are a must.

    • Demonstrates good time management and priority setting skills

    • Demonstrates effective teamwork skills

    • Demonstrates ability to work under pressure and handling complexity

    • Proficient English (and optionally in Spanish) written and oral communication skills

    • Travel Industry background is desired.

    • Experience with travel distribution/reservation systems (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus)

    • Bachelor degree in Computing Science or Information Systems, or technical degree in similar areas.
