What's a typical day as an Industrial Inside Sales Rep? You'll be:

• Communicating directly with customers and outside sales representatives via phone and email to represent the company and obtain orders.

• Advising customers of availability, price, and terms in line with standard parameters.

• Reviewing specifications for applicable products.

• Providing accurate estimates/quotations based on customer's RFQ.

• Coordinating with other departments and divisions to quote lead times and delivery dates for products that are not in stock.

• Accurately processing all customer requests including orders received via phone, fax, or electronically.

• Following up with other departments to ensure delivery dates are met and proactively communicating delayed shipments to customers.

• Resolving problems with shipments or invoicing.

• Issuing Return Goods Authorizations and entering replacement orders as necessary.

• Coordinating with production, engineering, and accounting departments for the processing of credits, warehouse releases, and returned materials authorization.

• Escalating issues to managers for prompt investigation and action as required.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you :

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.

• Have experience working with Valves or have valve knowledge

• Possess good mechanical aptitude to understand product applications at the end-user level.

• Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with customers and other members of management.

• Can maintain a positive attitude under stress.
